More about FGallery
FGallery is a web photo gallery designed for artists and photographers. Created with style and using latest technologies, it provides you with an easy way to upload, organize and show your pictures.
Why another gallery
There are many web gallery managers available on the internet, you upload your picture and organize them. There are also many gallery generators, you install a program on your computer and get html files. There are also some nice designed templates. But often if you have one of thoose things in a software, you don't get others. Fgallery provides an easy upload and manage system, together with auto resizing and tagging, a nice design with cool animations and also some extra editing tools.
FGallery
It is divided in two : the public part which is called gallery and the private part which is called dashboard. They can work together but also each one in a standlone mode.
The gallery
FGallery's gallery is the place where visitors will see your creations. And since each artist has its own style and personnality, we will allow you to skin it as you like.
The dashboard
FGallery's dashboard is the place where you can do all the stuff on your images : upload, organize, edit, rename, ... in an easy and intuitive way, of course.
Upload many images
Adding images to the gallery has been maid as easy as possible : choose as many files as you want, and upload them all at once. And as it could take some time, the progress bar lets you know if you have time to get a coffee.
Or even an archive
Sometimes it's easier to send many images inside a compressed archive file. FGallery can unpack your zip or rar files and get the images out of them. Note: a compressed archive will also take less time to upload.
Protect your work
From the internet, anyone can save your image file and reuse it without even telling you. That's why FGallery will protect you work by watermarking all your images just after you have uploaded them. Choose your logo and/or a copyright text image and they will be applied to your images.
Organize
In your FGallery's dashboard, organizing your picture is easy : just click, drag and drop them. Drop them in another album to move them or in the same album to change their place (images will appear in the public gallery in the same order). On each image, simple click lets you get informations about your picture, double click to edit the title and the comment.
Edit
You can of course change the title and add a comment for each picture, but that was not enough. Because sometimes you don't want to launch Aperture or Lightroom, FGallery provied you with some basic image editing tools to rotate, resize, crop, ...
Get feedback
Because an artist needs to know if his work is appreciated, FGallery allows visitors to rate pictures. We hope you'll always get 5/5.
For photographers and artists
We included some nice features such as a slideshow of an album. For photographers, the gallery can also extract EXIF data from uploaded pictures.
Using latest technologies
FGallery is maid of valid XHTML 1.0, CSS, Javascript and PHP. It uses the great javascript library jquery to provide most of the user interactions and AJAX requests.
